Evolution & Passion of Lyfe

I jotted down a list several years ago and titled it Tha Evolution of Lyfe "Tha Passion to Obey and Learn” A passion to obey lyfe doesn't typically just spring up, full-blown, when we get saved. We do enter lyfe with a desire to please ourselves, but a determined pursuit of our will develops more slowly and over time.In fact, when we first believe, we’re typically motivated by fear concerning tha consequences of disobedience. This barely qualifies as reverence for lyfe, because it’s more about us than lyfe. But as we progress in our faith and form a commitment to obey lyfe, we develop a deep love for and devotion to living lyfe out of love than out of fear......Progressing from one motivation to tha other begins with what you might expect: a growing knowledge of lyfe. As we dig into spirituality, we learn who we are—our heart, our character, our will. We begin to see how our faith has provided in tha past and trust that our faith will provide in tha future. We’ll recognize tha wisdom of obeying this thing call lyfe not just because of the promised blessings, but because we know what’s best Where are you on the spectrum between fear and devotion Complete obedience is a choice regardless of tha consequences. This means that we obey Lyfe even if our friends choose a different path or when suffering and embarrassment are guaranteed. Seeing our own comfort or personal ambition is more important We commit tha consequences to lyfe and cling to promises Understand tha word commitment in your lyfe devotion. I’m not writing about obedience that is born of tha moment but about total submission as a way of lyfe. Setting restrictions on compliance is so tempting we want to be able to change our mind when obeying upsets our lyfestyle, tha final result is unclear, or we’re just plain scared.
