When we think of ways to decrease stress levels we look to diet and exercise. However, there are cases whereby diet changes are made and sustained, and one is exercising regularly but stress still feels high. It’s very important that working out and eating right will have a positive effect on lyfe. Stress is a daily occurrence that we all encounter, yet there are ways to manage stress levels. One’s environment plays a very important part in managing stress. It is important to have a place of tranquility and peace. For many that place is one’s home or room in your home. It is important to create tha space that will allow you to decompress after dealing with tha outside world.

Mediation in a space with calming waters, tranquil music, lyfe through plants, and aromatherapy are just a few of tha things one can place strategically thought out tha house, or in a tranquility room. When taking time to decompress from tha stress of tha day it is also important to “unplug”. If possible, this is tha time, and space, whereby you wouldn’t accept phone calls, or interact with social media are etc..Basically, it’s a no technology zone.There is so much going on in tha world, and it is a source of constant stress and worry.Having space whereby you can get away from tha stress of such things even if it’s a small time will help your stress levels.

It is understandable that many people live a fast pace lyfe, and more so by necessity. However, what you come home to can make it impossible to destress. Organizing your home for your own efficiency, and cleaning tha clutter that may have grown in tha wake of you being busy. Something as simple as washing tha bed sheets so that you can get into a fresh bed to rest can have a significant effect on your stress level in a positive way. Never underestimate tha power of clean, and organization. Granted one should organize to best suit them, but having a place for everything helps your home have a serene feel to it in addition to your tranquility space.

Lastly, when there is a spouse, and kids involved stress levels can be elevated trying to help everyone in tha family get what they need. However, there must be a balance. You must have time to yourself to be at one with self, balance your energy, and center your being. This is important if you want to decrease tha stress in your lyfe. If you find that your muscles are constantly tense even after stretching, and knots tend to surface in say your shoulders and back regularly…it’s time to deal with your stress levels. Enabling your environment for wellness may assist with decreasing stress.
