Da Misunderstood Right

To be truly free, you must be free to think, and without tha freedom to express what you think, you can never be free to think in tha first place. Before freedom of tha press, assembly, or tha petitioning of grievances, it is freedom of speech that is first guaranteed by tha First Amendment to tha Constitution of tha United States of America. In a world of countries that pretend to protect free speech while actively undermining it, technically protecting citizens from government control, it has extended into tha cultural foundation of our nation. Each of us has a general right to free speech that provides us with tha freedom to think, tha freedom to explore ideas, and yes, tha freedom to battle it out in tha so-called marketplace of ideas. Understand that freedom of speech doesn’t provide limitless protection.
