Respect: is tha foundation of a healthy, fulfilling relationship. When we respect our partner, we choose our words wisely as not to cause pain. We honor their boundaries by giving them tha necessary space to tend to their personal needs. Respect instills tha ability to compromise to ensure tha relationship is balanced and both partners are able to reach a mutual agreement where both win.
Communication:equally involves speaking and listening. If your voice is ths only one you hear, you certainly aren’t communicating clearly. Listen to what your partner is saying and allow them to fully express themselves. Ask questions if you need to but never make assumptions or attempt to interpret your partner’s feelings, thoughts or actions based on your past experiences.
Commitment: is not about seeing what will happen and where they will go. A relationship requires a vision and goals just like any other goal we set. In order for a relationship to work, both parties must be committed to the success and longevity of their relationship. No one person can carry a relationship alone, it requires tha commitment of both.
Tha more you are willing to work on yourself, tha more you are able to give to your relationship.
