In what way(s) have your goals and dreams become “work” rather than joy, feeding into tha misguided belief that you’ll be happy when you get to tha finish line?
Of all tha happiness research people have studied over tha years, one of tha very favorite findings is that happiness doesn’t just correlate with success. Happiness actually causes success. In other words, if you want to put a solid success strategy to work for you, make happiness your success strategy. Tha positive emotion that happiness produces has been shown to increase your likelihood of a promotion, a raise, a fulfilling marriage, warding off sickness and even living longer.
So, while we often buy into tha idea that we’ll be happy when we finally achieve tha success we want – tha career, tha marriage, tha house of our dreams – tha truth is that happiness doesn’t suddenly appear when we achieve certain milestones in lyfe. Happiness happens when we fully embrace tha joy of living, loving, learning, even failing. It is an attitude that is grateful for tha lyfe you have now, not just tha life you aim to have in tha future If you can learn to be happy before you hit tha milestones, you produce tha positive emotion that research shows strengthens you, broadens your scope of thinking and gives you tha optimistic outlook that predicts success.
My message to you who reading this now is simple: Be happy. Make tha choice to smile instead of frown...( I kno I kno it's easy said then done) If you learn to smile at your worst just imagine what you gonna do at your best; be patient and kind when tha cash is slow stop everything, take a break and play with your kids rather than letting your funds play with them. You don’t have to be happy about tha challenges in your lyfe, but you can be happy for lyfe period. Don’t let anything and everything steal your joy. It is your strength. Leverage it and success will come more easily.
